Vecoplan has acquired Pla.to GmbH, a specialist in dry cleaning and washing technology, expanding its plastics recycling solutions portfolio. The companies announce new system series and the presentation of the largest dry-cleaning line at K 2025.
ENGEL will showcase an expanded temperature control portfolio at K 2025, including ultrasonic-based e-flomo and eco-flomo systems rated up to 160 °C and the new e-flomo one for high flow rates. The solutions target lower scrap, higher process stability and up to 50% reduction in cooling water use.

Universal Robots unveiled the UR8 Long, a collaborative industrial robot with a 1750 mm reach and 8 kg payload, designed for confined workspaces. The new model debuted at Fabtech and targets applications such as welding and bin picking.
