Exolon Group has launched the Exolon Panel 60 HX, a 60 mm polycarbonate panel with a Hybrid-X structure for translucent facades. An Ecoplus variant uses biocircular raw materials attributed via ISCC PLUS mass balance, with up to 89 percent from non-fossil sources, according to the company.

At K 2025 ENGEL will present a virtual twin of the duo 5500 combi M, a 55,000 kN two-platen injection moulding machine. The exhibit highlights PUR-based in-mould coating via clearmelt for large automotive components and the substitution of painted metal panels with plastics.

At K 2025, Sumitomo (SHI) Demag will run an all-electric 420t PAC-E caps and closures cell integrating a 72-cavity tool and inline digital cap printing, targeting faster cycles, energy cuts and on-the-fly personalisation.
