Visitor pre-registration opens…

Organized by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council and the Taiwan Association of Machinery Industry, TaipeiPlas 2026 will take place from September 15 to 19, 2026, in Hall 1 of the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center. The organizers have already launched online visitor pre-registration, inviting participants from around the world to explore the next wave of industrial modernization and market changes in the plastics and rubber sector. The event will be held under the theme "Form to Future" and will focus on three main areas: smart manufacturing, innovative materials, and sustainability and the circular economy. The scope of the exhibition is to include the latest solutions related to processing upgrades and the expanding applications in the plastics and rubber industries.

According to the information provided, exports of Taiwanese plastics and rubber machinery reached USD 825 million in 2025, an increase of 4.6% compared with 2024. These figures indicate a gradual recovery in export momentum and an improvement in market demand. The main export destinations include China, Vietnam, the United States, Thailand, and Indonesia, confirming Taiwan's strong position in both Asia and the Americas. At the same time, Taiwanese manufacturers are also expanding their presence in emerging markets, including Poland, Latin America, and Africa.

Automation, digitalization and materials

Amid global changes in supply chains, manufacturers are integrating automation and digitalization solutions, using machine connectivity and data monitoring to optimize processes and ensure stable product quality. At the same time, materials development is shifting toward applications with higher performance, greater diversity, and a stronger share of solutions aligned with sustainability objectives.

TaipeiPlas 2026 is expected to bring together 330 exhibitors across 1,500 booths, presenting solutions from across the value chain, on both the supplier and technology user sides. The leading Taiwanese exhibitors named include Victor Taichung, FCS, Huarong, CLF, Everlight Chemical, and Greco. International participants are expected to include Arburg, Wittmann, Engel, and igus.

The trade fair program will also include accompanying events aimed at developing international cooperation. These will include procurement meetings, a thematic forum, a guided tour, and an award ceremony combined with a gala.
