Plastpol 2026 will take place from 19 to 22 May at Targi Kielce as the 30th edition of the International Fair of Plastics and Rubber Processing. According to the organiser, the event will bring together representatives of the sector from many regions of the world, from North America, through Europe and Asia, to the Arab countries. Around 600 companies from more than 30 countries are expected to participate, presenting technological lines, raw materials, products for processing and services for the industry. The fair is also expected to attract visitors from around 50 countries. The programme will include not only presentations of technical solutions, but also business meetings, matchmaking sessions and conference events devoted to the condition and development directions of the plastics and rubber industry.
The president of Targi Kielce, Andrzej Mochoń, PhD, emphasises the importance of the event for the international industry community. As he states, "For 30 years, Plastpol has supported the development of the global plastics industry. Every year, representatives of companies from different continents come to Kielce. Thanks to this, the fair is a catalyst for investment, relationships and knowledge." At the same time, he announces an expansion of initiatives strengthening the international and business dimension of the anniversary edition, including the organisation of visits by journalists from Austria, Bulgaria, Germany, Italy, France, Spain, India and Algeria.
Kamil Perz, project director at Targi Kielce, describes Plastpol as one of the important industry events on a global scale. He points out that the significance of the fair is also confirmed by the national stands to be organised for the 30th edition by Germany, Austria, India, Switzerland and the Czech Republic, among others.
International scope and live production lines
The organiser stresses that, during the preparations for the fair, infrastructure is built up at the exhibition centre over several weeks to launch the showcased installations. During the event, processing lines, injection moulding machines, extrusion lines, blow moulding machines and recycling lines are to operate live. The demonstrations will be carried out using granulates, regranulates, colourants and additives supplied from different parts of the world.
As Kamil Perz notes, the comprehensive nature of the exhibition supports the creation of supply chains in sectors using plastics, including packaging, construction, automotive, electronics, household appliances, children's products and the defence industry. In his view, "During Plastpol, long-term partnerships are established and strengthened." He also adds that discussions held during the fair translate into specific investments, and that during the 2025 edition contracts were signed for the purchase of injection moulding machines, recycling lines and raw materials.
Matchmaking meetings scheduled for the fourth day of the fair are intended to reinforce the business value of the event. Company representatives and professional visitors from various countries will be able to participate. According to the organiser, these pre-arranged meetings are intended to help establish entirely new business contacts and cooperation.
Awards and accompanying events programme
A permanent element of the fair is the Targi Kielce Gold Medals, awarded to products considered particularly technologically advanced and useful for the development of the industry. The distinctions are presented during the Platinum Plast gala, organised on the second day of the fair. According to the organiser, Plastpol 2026 exhibitors can already submit products to the competition via the form available on the event website.
The substantive programme will begin even before the fair itself starts. Plastics Industry Meeting is scheduled for 18 May and will be organised at Targi Kielce by the PlasticsEurope Polska Foundation and the Polish Association of Plastics Processors. For the first day of the fair, PlasticsEurope is preparing a press conference devoted to the latest industry data. On the second day, the Plastech Info seminar organised by the tworzywa.pl service will take place. On the third day, the eplastics.pl portal will prepare the PPWR industry conference devoted to the practical aspects of implementing new regulations concerning packaging and waste management.
An important part of the fair is also the OMNIPLAST competition for exhibitors, promoting specialist knowledge and industry competences. The final of this initiative will take place during Plastpol, and the co-organiser is the tworzywa.pl portal.
The organiser has already launched online ticket sales. The 30th International Fair of Plastics and Rubber Processing Plastpol will take place from 19 to 22 May 2026 at Targi Kielce.
