Sidel has announced its participation in CBST 2026, the China International Beverage Industry Science and Technology Exhibition, which will take place from 9 to 11 April at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center. As a global supplier of packaging solutions for beverages, food, home care and personal care products in PET, cans and glass, the company will present its aseptic technology and complete line solutions at booth 2C03 in hall 2. Visitors will be able to meet Sidel experts, learn more about the Aseptic Combi Predis and Aseptic Predis X4 technologies, and discuss the NeXt Line concept and available service and digital solutions.
Sidel's experience in the beverage industry
The company emphasises that its presence at CBST is an opportunity to present its long-term experience in packaging technology for the beverage sector. Steven Xie, vice president of equipment and services sales for Sidel in Greater China, points to the importance of a comprehensive approach to the design and operation of bottling lines. He stated that the trade fair is a platform to present the company's achievements, including 175 years of development of packaging solutions and specialist know-how in line design, machine configuration and performance optimisation of packaging installations. The presentation will focus on issues related to efficiency, process stability and sustainability aspects in aseptic filling systems.
Aseptic PET bottle packaging
Sidel describes itself as a global leader in aseptic PET bottle packaging. The company has around fifty years of experience in this field and more than 300 systems installed worldwide. At CBST, the company's experts will present how aseptic solutions, including the Aseptic Combi Predis system and the next-generation Aseptic Predis X4 system, can support beverage producers in ensuring safe, stable and flexible aseptic production.
Aseptic Combi Predis is described as a simple and fast market solution for aseptic production using dry preform decontamination. The technology introduces hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂) into the preform before it is placed in the oven. During the first heating stage, the peroxide is activated, which is intended to ensure a high level of decontamination while limiting the size of the sterile zone and reducing the risk of contamination in the aseptic filling process.
The Aseptic Predis X4 system represents the next stage in the development of Sidel's dry preform sterilisation technology. This solution is used for aseptic PET packaging of beverages such as teas, juices, nectars, isotonics and liquid dairy products, including UHT milk and soya milk. According to the company, both platforms, Combi Predis and Predis X4, have been designed to meet diverse production requirements while maintaining the same level of food safety, operational efficiency and sustainability targets in the aseptic filling process.
An important element of the presentation at the exhibition will also be the activities of Sidel's plant in Beijing. According to the company, this site has so far supplied 50 aseptic production lines to customers in China and other Asian countries. This achievement will be highlighted and discussed at the booth in the context of the development of the regional installation base and service support for users of aseptic lines.

NeXt Line: complete PET and rPET line concept
In addition to aseptic technologies, Sidel will present its NeXt Line concept at CBST. This is a complete line solution for PET and rPET packaging, optimised for efficiency and resource savings. The concept combines several key process and equipment innovations intended to increase production efficiency while reducing operating costs, including energy, water and chemical consumption.
Among the components of the NeXt Line, the company lists the CoboREEL system for automatic reel loading, designed to reduce manual work and shorten downtime related to material changeovers. Another component is the Hydra Ultrasonic ultrasonic washer, whose task is to reduce water, energy and chemical consumption in washing processes. The Swing Evo system is used for pasteurisation with reduced energy consumption. The AQFlex conveying system complements the line as a flexible, contactless transport solution intended to minimise downtime and disturbances in bottle flow along the line. According to Sidel, the combination of these elements within NeXt Line helps producers increase overall plant efficiency, limit unplanned stops and reduce the total cost of ownership of the installation.
Service offering and digital tools
An important part of the offer presented at CBST will be Sidel's service portfolio aimed at producers operating in Greater China. The company will showcase its 360 Service programme, which covers corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance. Within this offer, the machine manufacturer provides support in the form of fast access to spare parts, technical assistance, diagnostic visits and service agreements tailored to local production conditions and the specifics of the installed packaging lines.
The service offer is complemented by digital tools. The Sidel Services Online platform provides customers in China with access to an easy-to-use e-commerce system for ordering parts and viewing documentation and technical information in one place. The Evo-ON software package, according to the company, supplies real-time data and proactive alerts concerning line operation. This is intended to support users in identifying potential issues at an early stage, improving maintenance planning and maintaining stable performance of bottling installations.
