Sidel to present lines and packaging machines at interpack 2026

Sidel to present lines and…

At interpack 2026, Sidel will present solutions for the food, home care, personal care and beverage markets. The showcase will include complete production lines and high-performance equipment designed to address the growing complexity of packaging and production processes. The company states that its offer is based on advanced engineering, experience in line design and technologies aimed at increasing efficiency and flexibility. Sidel also highlights more than 40 years of experience in supplying complete lines for producers of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. At the trade fair, the company intends to focus attention on solutions also intended for segments such as edible oils, sauces and dressings, household chemicals and personal care products. According to the manufacturer, this approach is intended to respond to requirements related to equipment availability, operational stability and simplified line operation from the perspective of operators, production managers and maintenance teams.

The presentation will include ready-made solutions for complete production lines, covering stages from design and installation to ongoing operational support. Sidel declares that these systems are adapted to the requirements of specific applications in order to reduce downtime and support continuity of operations. Davide Sighinolfi, Vice President Food, Home and Personal Care, said: "At Sidel, our comprehensive line expertise is a key factor in helping customers across different market categories, such as edible oils, sauces and dressings, and home care. Our extensive experience in handling bottles made from any material, of any shape and resistance, means that we are able to deliver the performance, reliability and flexibility that brand owners expect." He also added: "In addition to our overall PET expertise and PET transition support, Sidel remains a trusted partner across many different categories. Whether for cartons, tubes or flexible pouches, with a portfolio of best-in-class equipment enhanced by advanced smart technologies and safe, user-oriented automation, we address packaging complexity while delivering consistent value and operational excellence for our customers."

Complete lines and new systems at the stand

Sidel will present its complete line offering together with solutions such as Cermex RoboSELEX and RoboAccess_Pal S. According to the company, these technologies are intended to support stable product flow, efficient changeovers and long-term production flexibility. A key element of the stand will be the Cermex RoboSELEX system, which will be demonstrated live for the first time at interpack 2026. The solution develops the concept of the previously introduced Cermex ProSelex system, presented at interpack 2023.

Cermex RoboSELEX is a robotic sorting system designed for case packers. It has been developed for flexible operation and accumulation-free performance. Sidel states that the system enables the handling of lightweight bottles across a wide range of shape configurations and production batches, while maintaining continuous product flow and throughput of up to 320 products per minute. The solution is intended to ensure container handling integrity while also addressing the needs of lines used in the food, home care and personal care sectors.

The company also highlights parameters related to changeovers. A set change is said to take around one minute, while a bottle format change takes around two minutes. According to the manufacturer, the optimised mechanical design reduces the number of parts, which simplifies operation and may also lower costs and shorten the implementation time for new formats.

Palletising and end-of-line solutions

The stand will also feature the compact RoboAccess_Pal S palletiser. In the version on display, the machine has been equipped with a lifting column that allows pallet heights of up to 2200 mm. At the same time, the unit maintains the declared performance of up to 11 cycles per minute and the ability to handle loads weighing up to 25 kg.

The manufacturer also points to the compact footprint of the solution. The occupied area is stated to be less than 12 m² for two stations and 8 m² for a single palletising station. This design is intended to facilitate installation and provide an option for plants planning to move from manual palletising to an automated system. The solution is complemented by the PalDesigner tool, available via the machine's HMI interface, intended for managing and creating pallet patterns.

Aseptic and PET blow moulding technologies

Visitors to the stand will also be able to learn about Sidel's latest solutions in aseptic technology. The company will present the Aseptic Predis X4 unit as part of complete aseptic lines intended for safe and efficient production. The presentation will also include EvoBLOW Laser technology, described as a next-generation blow moulding solution illustrating the company's approach to improving efficiency and sustainability in PET bottle production.
