LyondellBasell to stop producing LDPE at its Pasadena facility

Equistar Chemicals, LP will stop producing low density polyethylene (LDPE) at its Pasadena, Texas, tubular process unit by the end of the year, parent company LyondellBasell Industries announced today. Production will shift to other sites.

Four million tonnes of polyethylene in Unipetrol

At the beginning of March, Unipetrol RPA produced its four millionth tonne of polyethylene. The technology serving the manufacturing of polyethylene has already been in operation for 32 years.
