Central European Plastics Meeting 2025

László Bűdy from MyCEPPI Plastics Consulting summarizes this year’s Central European Plastics Meeting in Budapest, which gathered 450 participants and nearly 1,500 meetings. The key topics included the difficult situation of the European plastics industry, the urgent need to restore competitiveness, and the support required for the recycling sector threatened by bankruptcies. The declaration adopted called for harmonized EU waste standards and mandatory use of recyclates in selected products. The next edition will take place in June in Novi Sad, Serbia.
