ENGEL presents the world's largest injection moulding machine duo 12000 US

ENGEL has developed the two-platen injection moulding machine duo 12000 US with a clamping force of 110,000 kN, designed for producing large-scale parts with a projected area of more than 2.5 m². The solution opens up new possibilities for lightweight design, functional integration and replacing traditional materials with plastics.

Following the retirement of Colin Tirel, on 1 December 2025 Steve Thomson, who has worked in the plastics industry since 1991, became managing director of Arburg Ltd. in Warwick. The new head is to support the development of the company's activities in the UK and Irish markets.
