ENGEL Group will acquire Trexel from early October 2025, expanding its position in physical foaming for injection moulding. Trexel will remain operationally independent with unchanged global sites and management continuity.
At K 2025 in Düsseldorf, Wittmann Battenfeld introduced a new MacroPower injection molding machine with a one-piece frame in the 400 to 600 t range, aiming to shorten installation, shrink the footprint and improve serviceability, while adding energy-saving features and expanded hydraulics.
Engel introduced the tie-bar-less victory electric injection moulding machine at K 2025, combining electric drives with a redesigned clamping unit. The model targets higher precision, energy efficiency and flexible mould-space utilisation in the clamping force range above 1,300 kN.
At K 2025, Arburg introduced the electric Allrounder Trend for standard injection moulding and presented multiple high-end applications developed with partners. The stand also featured the arburgGREENworld pavilion focusing on circular economy topics.
At Plast Eurasia 2025, Arburg will present the Eurasia premiere of its new electric Allrounder Trend injection moulding machine and the Gestica lite control, with an Allrounder 1000 e Trend producing a Cross Knot demonstration part at stand 1114B.
Arburg will showcase new digitalisation and AI features at K 2025, including the Gestica lite control, AI-based assistants, a recyclate-focused pilot and a virtual twin in the arburgXworld portal, alongside updates to the ALS MES and the Ask Arburg app.
At K 2025, Haitian International will show the fully electric vertical MDVR100S8500 from Niigata Machinery. The exhibit will mold a PMMA telescope tube in a 40 s cycle and highlight features such as wide-platen clamping, a high-speed rotary table and digital process control.
