Smurfit Westrock tests Reifenhäuser EVO Ultra die heads

During an open house at Smurfit Westrock’s plant in Ibi (Alicante), a new generation of Reifenhäuser EVO Ultra die heads for barrier blown film was presented. The live demonstration reported an output of over 1,000 kg/h at 70 µm thickness and profile accuracy better than ±3% (2σ).

Coperion upgrades the EGR eccentric pelletizer

Coperion has introduced changes to the EGR eccentric pelletizer used with the two-stage Kombiplast compounding system. The upgrade is intended to improve pellet quality when processing temperature- and shear-sensitive plastics while reducing energy consumption.
