At K 2025, Wittmann will unveil the Primus 118, a linear robot for injection molding machines up to 250 tons, increasing the series’ payload from 5 kg to selectable 6 or 8 kg. The model adds reinforced axes, more powerful drives and extended pneumatic options, and runs on the R9 control with OPC UA.

KraussMaffei debuts redesigned all-electric PX at K 2025

KraussMaffei has overhauled its all-electric PX injection molding series, citing a 20 percent smaller footprint and around 20 percent lower energy use. The range spans 800 to 2,000 kN and introduces the web-based MC7 control, updated drive and temperature control options, and a new hot runner controller.
