SABIC launches laser-weldable Noryl V0 resins

SABIC has introduced Noryl V0150TW and V0150IR2 resins, described as the first laser-weldable thermoplastics for photovoltaic applications. The materials combine flame retardancy, weatherability and properties important for housings of PV components.

Leonhard Kurz has commissioned a 1,244 kWp solar carport and started ramp-up of an in-house facility to recycle transfer-foil carrier into rPET granulate at its Fürth headquarters. The PV system will supply much of the recycling plant’s energy and includes 32 EV charging points.
