Moretto outlines a portfolio of storage and handling systems for plastic granules, regrind and flakes, spanning indoor silos, big bag solutions and automated receiving. The equipment integrates with conveying and supports error prevention through barcode, RFID and supervisory controls.
Oerlikon, together with the Oerlikon Barmag, Oerlikon Neumag and Oerlikon Nonwoven brands, will present solutions for yarn and nonwovens production at ITMA ASIA + CITME in Singapore, 28–31 October, hall 4, booth C 204. The focus will be on productivity, digitalization and energy savings.

At K 2025, Engel will present a fully automated cell for producing and packaging polystyrene well plates and lids for diagnostics. The all-electric e-motion 280 combi MW integrates parallel injection, an 11-second cycle and a digital validation assistant aimed at shorter qualifications and a smaller cleanroom footprint.
At K 2025, Erema will debut Agglorema, a recycling system for converting heavily contaminated, low bulk density post-consumer waste into pourable, high-density agglomerates for chemical recycling. The line couples a PCU with Counter Current technology and a short extruder to handle fluctuating moisture without upstream drying.
At K 2025, Wittmann will unveil the Primus 118, a linear robot for injection molding machines up to 250 tons, increasing the series’ payload from 5 kg to selectable 6 or 8 kg. The model adds reinforced axes, more powerful drives and extended pneumatic options, and runs on the R9 control with OPC UA.
B.IRD Machinery will present compact infrared rotary drum systems for rapid heating and drying of plastics at K 2025. The technology targets pellets, regrind, flakes and powders, citing more than 90% time savings and up to 70% energy savings, with applications in injection moulding, TPU, compounding and recycling.
Pronomic will present modular ergonomic lifting and handling solutions for packaging and related industries at Fachpack 2025 in Nuremberg, 23–25 September. Live demonstrations at hall 7, stand 7-621, will include devices enabling one-person handling of loads up to 400 kg.
Oerlikon Textile Inc. has launched a crimper repair service at its Charlotte site, the company’s first location worldwide to offer this capability. The workshop focuses on Fleissner and Neumag crimpers, providing complete overhauls with testing and warranty.
