At K 2025, Arburg will run an electric Allrounder 720 A on Stand 13A13 to demonstrate injection compressing moulding with in-mould labelling for thin-wall PP cups. The setup targets lower material use and energy consumption, along with reduced clamping force.
At K 2025 ENGEL will present a virtual twin of the duo 5500 combi M, a 55,000 kN two-platen injection moulding machine. The exhibit highlights PUR-based in-mould coating via clearmelt for large automotive components and the substitution of painted metal panels with plastics.
At K 2025, Sumitomo (SHI) Demag will run an all-electric 420t PAC-E caps and closures cell integrating a 72-cavity tool and inline digital cap printing, targeting faster cycles, energy cuts and on-the-fly personalisation.
Sigma Engineering will present Sigmasoft Virtual Molding 6.2 at K 2025. The release delivers up to four times faster simulations, improved result quality and usability, plus the debuts of Sigmaecon and Sigma Rubber Designer.
At K 2025, KraussMaffei will present the FrontIQ Light headlight made with ColorForm, integrating inline PUR coating and in-mold film deep drawing. A live cell on a GXW 650 will produce a 3K demonstrator, with a 720 mm headlight shown at the Leonhard Kurz booth.
The Central European Plastics Meeting will take place in Budapest on 16–18 September. The program includes pre-arranged B2B meetings, a networking event, and five themed conferences with industry representatives as speakers.
Kistler will present process-integrated, AI-supported quality assurance for medical device injection molding at K 2025. The approach replaces sampling with automated 100% inspection based on in-mold sensor data.
At K 2025, Engel will present a unified automation portfolio with deep machine integration, led by a new modular generation of viper linear robots that extends reach without full robot replacement. The offering targets higher efficiency, shorter lead times and space-saving layouts.
Moog will present new hydraulic, electrohydraulic and electrohydrostatic solutions for plastics machinery at K 2025. The exhibit in Hall 11 will highlight a new pump concept for injection molding.
Wittmann Tempro temperature controllers are a cost-effective choice for applications requiring precise temperature control with straightforward operation. At K 2025, Wittmann will present a new controller design with a 120 °C operating temperature.
Proell will feature new screen printing inks and protective lacquers for IMD/FIM at K 2025, Hall 5-C01. Highlights include carbon black-free functional blacks, a faster-curing dual-cure hard coat, UV-curing overprint lacquers and an NIR-accelerated two-component ink system.
