NGR and Leistritz: single-stage recycling and compounding

Leistritz Extrusionstechnik and Next Generation Recyclingmaschinen will combine preconditioning on a single-screw extruder with twin-screw compounding to produce high-quality regranulate in a single melt. The collaboration addresses PPWR-driven quality requirements and is being demonstrated on a 300–500 kg/h test line in Austria.

Oerlikon at ITMA ASIA + CITME: digitalization and efficiency

Erema introduces Agglorema for highly contaminated waste

At K 2025, Erema will debut Agglorema, a recycling system for converting heavily contaminated, low bulk density post-consumer waste into pourable, high-density agglomerates for chemical recycling. The line couples a PCU with Counter Current technology and a short extruder to handle fluctuating moisture without upstream drying.
