K 2025 will once again gather the global plastics and rubber industry in Düsseldorf from 8 to 15 October 2025. Within Hall 6, the Rubber Street will serve as a concentrated showcase for elastomer and TPE developments, curated jointly by the German Rubber Manufacturers Association (wdk) and Messe Düsseldorf. The 500 square metre special area is fully booked, bringing a record 19 main and sub-exhibitors that reflect the entire elastomer value chain, from raw materials and compounding through processing, scientific institutes, networks and recycling. The area mirrors the growing role of thermoplastic elastomers alongside cross-linkable rubber, and aligns with circularity topics highlighted across the fair. For the first time, the aisle will also demonstrate an applied circular solution on the show floor by installing reusable flooring made from recycled tyre rubber. Alongside product and process innovations, visitors can expect opportunities to connect with suppliers, institutes and initiatives focused on elastomer performance, processing efficiency and end-of-life pathways.
Industry statements
“We are delighted that Messe Düsseldorf is showing a clear commitment to rubber and elastomers at K and is giving Rubber Street 2025 a prominent place in the trade fair programme. This is a strong signal for our entire industry and for visitors who want to find out about innovations in the elastomer sector at the trade fair,” said Boris Engelhardt, Managing Director of the wdk.
Volker Krings, Managing Director of the TPE Association within the wdk, commented: “At the wdk, we see thermoplastic elastomers as an ideal complement to the range of cross-linkable elastomers. At Rubber Street, exhibitors present innovations from both worlds, and at the highest technological level. And who knows? Maybe Rubber Street will one day be officially renamed Rubber & TPE Street!”

Circular flooring pilot on the show floor
For the first time at K 2025, a flooring system made from recycled tyre rubber will be installed on Rubber Street. A puzzle click system enables easy installation and prevents the soft mats from slipping apart. The mats are versatile and easy to clean, and they provide comfort for exhibitors and visitors. Unlike conventional disposable exhibition flooring, the durable mats can be reused multiple times and fully recycled at the end of their life cycle, helping to optimise the carbon footprint of stand builders and exhibitors. The flooring is supplied by MRH Mülsen GmbH, a partner company of the New Life initiative, which will also be present at the AZuR network stand.
