Registration and exhibitor applications open for TaipeiPlas 2026

Registration and exhibitor…

Organized by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council and the Taiwan Association of Machinery Industry, TaipeiPlas 2026 will take place on September 15 to 19, 2026, in Hall 1 of the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center. The organizers have already opened exhibitor applications and online visitor registration. The event is positioned as one of Asia’s leading meetings for the plastics and rubber industry and is intended to bring together companies and professionals from many markets. The slogan of the 2026 edition is "Form to Future", and the exhibition program will focus on three main areas, smart manufacturing, innovative materials, and sustainability and the circular economy.

According to the organizers, the exhibition will present the latest technological solutions and market development directions, with particular emphasis on digital transformation, material innovation, and more sustainable manufacturing practices. TaipeiPlas has long served as a platform connecting buyers, suppliers, and industry representatives. The 2024 edition attracted more than 12,000 visitors, which, according to the organizers, confirms Taiwan’s important position in the global supply chain for the plastics and rubber sector. The exhibition is intended to continue serving as a venue for product launches, technology exchange, business networking, and international cooperation.

Scope and market trends

The information materials emphasize that the global plastics and rubber industry is currently undergoing a clear transformation under the influence of circular economy initiatives, advanced manufacturing technologies, and changing supply chain requirements. Brands operating, among others, in the automotive, electronics, and consumer goods sectors are increasingly implementing recycled materials and new material solutions. This, in turn, is prompting suppliers to accelerate their sustainability efforts.

At the same time, manufacturers are integrating automation, digitalization, machine connectivity, and data-based monitoring systems to improve operational efficiency, product quality, and energy management. In response to these changes, TaipeiPlas 2026 is to introduce a Sustainability & Circular Zone and place stronger emphasis on advanced and composite materials. The presentation scope is to include material technologies, green manufacturing processes, recycling solutions, and circular economy applications.

Taiwan’s machinery sector and the scale of the event

The organizers also point to the situation of Taiwan’s plastics and rubber machinery sector. In 2025, exports of this industry reportedly reached USD 825 million, representing an increase of 4.6 percent compared with 2024. The main export markets listed were China, Vietnam, the United States, Thailand, and Indonesia. At the same time, Taiwanese manufacturers are also expanding their presence in emerging markets such as Poland, Latin America, and Africa.

According to the announcement, TaipeiPlas 2026 is expected to bring together 330 exhibitors across 1,500 booths. Comprehensive solutions covering the entire plastics and rubber value chain are to be presented. Among the Taiwanese exhibitors named are Victor Taichung, FCS, Huarong, CLF, Everlight Chemical, and Greco. The list of international companies includes Arburg, Wittmann, Engel, and igus.

Concurrent events

In addition to the exhibition itself, concurrent events focused on knowledge exchange and business networking are also planned. The program includes Procurement Meetings, Industry Forums, Guided Tour, and the TaipeiPlas Award Ceremony & Gala. According to the organizers, these activities are intended to enable participants to establish contacts with partners from different markets, obtain market information, and analyze new trends.

TaipeiPlas 2026 is intended to be a platform supporting innovation, cooperation, and international business development at a time when the industry is moving toward smarter and more sustainable operating models.
