Ceratizit to present tools and digitalisation at AMB 2026

Ceratizit to present tools…

Ceratizit announces the presentation of solutions intended to support supply security, productivity and production process stability in increasingly volatile market conditions. At AMB 2026 in Stuttgart, the carbide tool specialist will present an offering covering both tooling solutions for milling, turning and drilling, as well as digital applications supporting production planning and tool selection. The company’s stand will also feature examples of holistic machining concepts for demanding components, as well as an installation devoted to supply chain resilience. At the centre of the presentation will be the concept described by the company as "Resilient by Design", referring to safeguarding the supply chain from powder to the finished tool. Visitors will be able to follow the "flow of tungsten", meaning the path of this raw material through Ceratizit’s global production network. The company will be present in hall 3, stand B10/A12, from 15 to 19 September 2026.

Holistic machining concepts for selected industries

In addition to individual tools, Ceratizit intends to focus attention on complete machining concepts. Under the "Best-in-Class-Solutions" label, the company will present tailored tooling solutions for applications in the automotive, aerospace and hydraulics sectors. The presentation is to address the optimisation of entire production processes in terms of productivity, process reliability and cost-effectiveness. Based on real components, visitors are to gain insight into machining strategies for complex applications that have been proven in practice.

Live machining of a spinal implant

One of the main highlights of the display will be a demonstration from the medical technology sector. On a Traub automatic lathe, the company will present live machining of a spinal implant. The demonstration is intended to show the requirements for precision, process stability and tool performance when machining demanding materials. This will be complemented by specialised tooling solutions for titanium and high-temperature alloys, which play an important role both in medical technology and in the aerospace industry.

New products for milling, turning and drilling

In the tooling segment, Ceratizit will show solutions from the CoreLine and AdvancedLines ranges. CoreLine is designed to address needs related to high availability, simple procurement and an attractive price-performance ratio, while AdvancedLines are intended for more demanding applications, with an emphasis on maximum productivity and process reliability.

The latter group includes the expanded SilverLine solid carbide end mill series with a new inch range, as well as MaxiTurn EcoPeel. The peel turning system combines roughing and finishing in one tooling concept. According to the company, this is intended to help users simplify processes, reduce tooling costs and increase machining efficiency.

Digital tools for planning and costing

Alongside tooling solutions for milling, turning and drilling, Ceratizit will also present digital applications supporting production planning and tool selection. Their purpose is to support users in making quick decisions at successive stages of the manufacturing process.

The ToolSelect system is intended to enable the rapid identification of suitable tools for specific machining tasks and the comparison of tooling concepts in terms of performance and economics. This offering is complemented by Spanflug Make, software for automated component analysis. Based on CAD data, the solution evaluates production times, machining costs and manufacturability, providing users with information useful already at the early stages of costing and production preparation.
