Syensqo announced the launch of Repel-O-Tex Crystal Premium, a new generation soil release polymer for liquid laundry detergents. The product is intended to deliver a significant performance improvement, especially in short wash cycles and at low temperatures. According to the company, the new technology responds to changing consumer preferences, as users increasingly expect convenience and energy savings without compromising stain removal performance. The new grade expands the Repel-O-Tex range and is compatible with both concentrated liquid detergents and pouch formats.
Repel-O-Tex solutions are designed to limit greasy stain build-up and fabric graying by creating a protective layer on fibers during washing, which facilitates subsequent soil removal. According to information provided by Syensqo, the new grade delivers an efficacy improvement of more than 30% compared with previous benchmarks, across all wash conditions. The company also states that the product is biodegradable and has been designed for broad formulation compatibility.
