Mondi to present solutions at Interpack 2026 with 15 OEMs

Mondi to present solutions…

Mondi, a global producer of packaging solutions and paper, has announced it will present its materials and concepts at Interpack 2026 in an indirect format, through collaboration with 15 original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). Instead of a single central stand, Mondi solutions are to be available on partners’ stands across the show floor, with some applications running on machines in live demonstrations. The company notes that this presence model is intended to allow visitors to assess material performance in real production conditions and relate it to requirements for product protection, line performance and supply chain efficiency.

According to Mondi, cooperation with OEMs is intended to optimise materials for operation in real production environments. In practical terms, this is meant to support brand owners and converters in transitioning to more sustainable, material-efficient solutions while maintaining process parameters. During Interpack 2026, Mondi solutions are to be visible across a wide range of end-use applications, including coffee and dried foods, home and personal care, pet food, beverages, eCommerce packaging and transport packaging. Joint demonstrations with machine manufacturers are intended to show how combining material innovation with expertise in machine design and settings translates into packaging solutions that can be implemented at industrial scale.

Live demonstrations on partners’ stands

At selected partner stands, visitors will be able to see Mondi solutions running on equipment. One example referenced is the collaboration with Hugo Beck, under which Mondi’s partner is to present a new machine for kraft paper bundling for transport and secondary packaging. This solution is positioned as an alternative to plastic shrink film and to excessive carton use. The demonstration is to use Mondi’s Ad/Vantage StretchWrap paper, i.e. a 70 g/m² uncoated kraft paper characterised by stretch as well as tear and puncture resistance. The material is intended to be recyclable in standard paper recycling streams.

Scope of materials presented and OEM partners

Mondi also points to further OEM partners, including Rovema, Mespack, Meurer Verpackungssysteme, Viking Masek and Krones. Their stands are to feature Mondi materials, covering paper, plastics, coated barrier materials and corrugated packaging. The company emphasises that this exhibition format gives visitors opportunities to compare concepts, ask technical questions and discuss how design choices affect recyclability, material efficiency and line performance.

Elisabeth Schwaiger, Head of Innovation Mondi Flexible Packaging, commented: "Interpack is the ideal place to see what is possible when material innovation meets machine expertise. Through our collaborations with OEMs across the value chain, visitors can experience Mondi solutions in action and explore scalable packaging options designed to support their sustainability targets."
