At this year's supplier conference held on January 17 by polyamide yarn manufacturer Yongrong, Barmag was honored with the Gold Partner Award. The distinction is presented to suppliers that, in the group's view, make a significant contribution to its sustainable growth and long-term success. The award highlights the importance of the long-term cooperation between the two companies in the field of technologies for polyamide yarn production and the role of solutions supplied by Barmag in implementing Yongrong's development strategy.
The Yongrong Holding Group supplier conference 2025 took place in Fuzhou, China, under the motto "Shaping the future together with a focus on value." As a long-standing strategic supplier, Barmag was invited to the event and was represented by Hou Xiaoguang, Head of Barmag China, and Felix Chau, Head of Sales China. The presence of Barmag's representatives reflects the importance both parties attach to their long-term, partnership-based cooperation.
Long-term cooperation in polyamide yarn production
Barmag and the Yongrong Group have maintained a partnership-based business relationship since 2004. Over more than two decades, this cooperation has evolved from that of a strategic supplier to what is described as value-adding collaboration, focused on jointly building value. In the segment of polyamide yarn production, the Yongrong Group is now one of Barmag's most important customers worldwide.
At the beginning of the cooperation, Yongrong mainly used standard equipment supplied by Barmag. Over time, the scope of cooperation shifted towards solutions designed for the specific needs of the customer's plants. Today, the focus is on solutions tailored to Yongrong's process and product requirements, which are jointly developed and continuously optimized.
High-quality, state-of-the-art technology supplied by Barmag, combined with the Yongrong Group's forward-looking strategy, has contributed to the development of both partners. Joint work on equipment and production processes has enabled the gradual improvement of the technical level and efficiency of installations for polyamide yarn manufacturing.
Focus on sustainable and intelligent processes
Both parties intend to further intensify their cooperation. The focus of planned activities will be on developing environmentally friendly and intelligent production processes for the nylon industry. The announced directions include an emphasis on solutions that support a model of high-quality and sustainable industry.
The communication stressed that the development of new solutions is intended not only to improve existing processes but also to build a new operating model for the nylon industry, in which quality, efficiency and long-term durability of manufacturing processes will play a key role.
