New Targi Kielce exhibition hall to be completed summer 2026

New Targi Kielce exhibition…

Construction of a new exhibition hall is underway at Targi Kielce, significantly expanding and standardizing the venue’s infrastructure. The facility will offer 15,500 m2 on the ground floor and a height of 15 m to support projects at an international level. The design includes a high load-bearing floor, wide access gates, few columns, a regular spatial layout, a limited number of roof skylights, and the option for overhead rigging. A mezzanine will add a further 3,000 m2 with conference rooms equipped with modern solutions for congresses and training, as well as a restaurant area. The hall can be divided into three sections using a movable wall system, facilitating parallel events from different industries. The investment covers the site of the demolished Hall 7 and the former outdoor car park. Ultimately, integrating the new facility with the existing infrastructure will increase the total covered exhibition area to over 50,000 m2. The first event in the new space is to be the International Defence Industry Exhibition (MSPO), scheduled for September 2026.

Construction progress

Works are proceeding on schedule. External heating, electrical, water and sewage utilities have been completed. Footings and strip foundations have been executed, prefabricated reinforced-concrete columns installed, and assembly of roof elements has begun. Façade works will start shortly. "The structural shell will be ready before winter, allowing interior works regardless of weather" explains Dr Andrzej Mochoń, President of Targi Kielce. "We plan to complete the works in summer 2026."

Facility parameters and functionality

The new hall is to provide international infrastructure standards for exhibitors and visitors. "The exhibition hall will offer exhibitors and visitors international standards of infrastructure and comfort. It will open opportunities for businesses across many sectors to present more efficiently and develop business even more effectively" says Dr Andrzej Mochoń, President of Targi Kielce. The structural and technical layout provides, among others, high floor load capacity, large gates and overhead rigging capability, enabling placement of heavy machines typical for the Agrotech agricultural technology fair or MSPO. "Exhibition formats will be able to take various forms, according to exhibitors’ needs. The heaviest machines, most often showcased at the Agrotech agricultural technology fair and the International Defence Industry Exhibition, will be displayed here. Designers, marketing and public relations experts will be able to implement company promotion concepts even more effectively" notes the President of Targi Kielce.

The 3,000 m2 mezzanine will be designated for conference rooms, business meeting areas and a restaurant. A movable wall system will enable flexible division of the hall into three independent zones.

Schedule and project scale

The inaugural event in the new facility will be the International Defence Industry Exhibition in September 2026. The investment is valued at approximately PLN 100 million. "The new hall, combined with the existing space, will create over 50,000 square meters of exhibition area under roof. This is a European-level scale. The goal is to standardize standards across all our facilities, so the ongoing investment is by no means the final step" emphasizes Andrzej Mochoń.

Since 2010, Hall 5, the modernized Hall 6 and the Congress Centre have provided international-standard facilities. Further modernizations of Halls 1 and 2 and additional refurbishments in Halls 3 and 4 are planned. Increasing parking capacity is also necessary.
