K in Düsseldorf has added an AI-supported chatbot named K Assistant to its digital services. Accessible at www.k-online.com, the tool is designed to support exhibitors and visitors around the clock with targeted information for preparing a trade fair visit. It provides initial guidance on hall plans, exhibitor offerings, the supporting programme and services, with responses tailored to the user’s question and language. The chatbot is positioned as a virtual companion intended to make preparation more convenient and efficient by returning structured answers instead of long result lists. According to the organiser, the service is available to anyone interested and can be used in numerous national languages.
"With K Assistant, we are offering an innovative service that enables visitors and exhibitors to plan their trade fair visit even more efficiently," explains Thomas Franken, Director K at Messe Düsseldorf. "Digital tools such as the chatbot are an important step towards offering our customers modern and user-friendly support." Users can find the K Assistant symbol at the bottom right-hand corner of www.k-online.com.
Functionality and access
The service is designed to offer practical support before and during the show. Key features include:
- Availability 24/7, allowing users to plan at any time.
- Context-aware answers that deliver structured, precise information rather than long lists of search hits.
