Hennecke Group, a global leader in polyurethane (PUR) processing technology, has announced a strategic cooperation agreement with the Chinese engineering company Yizumi. This partnership aims to jointly advance the integration of injection molding and PUR technologies, unlocking new potential for high-quality, functional surfaces in industrial production. The official signing ceremony took place on July 29 in Shanghai, attended by senior representatives from both companies, including James Zhang, Deputy Managing Director of Yizumi, and Thomas Wildt, CEO of Hennecke Group. Yizumi contributes its extensive expertise in injection molding and a robust network of polyurethane specialists and raw material suppliers, particularly in key Asian markets. Hennecke complements this with decades of experience and strong innovation in advanced PUR processing, especially in overmolding technologies suitable for large-scale production.
The collaboration focuses on leveraging Yizumi's research in ReactPro technology, which enables the direct integration of PUR overmolding within the injection molding tool. This approach allows for the creation of functional surfaces with significant design flexibility and enhanced resistance, meeting the demands of industries such as automotive, consumer electronics, and household appliances. Since 2018, Yizumi has heavily invested in building a dedicated research and development team and establishing a specialized center for polymer processing, underlining its commitment to innovation in this field.
