RadiciGroup High Performance Polymers at Plastindia 2026

RadiciGroup High Performance…

RadiciGroup High Performance Polymers is participating in Plastindia 2026 (Hall H5F, Stand C3), regarded as the leading plastics industry event in India. At the fair, the company is presenting its high-performance polymer solutions intended for applications requiring high quality standards in the transport, e-mobility, electrical and electronic sectors, as well as in consumer and industrial goods. Participation in the trade fair is part of the long-term strategy of RadiciGroup High Performance Polymers in India, where the company has been operating for 20 years, gradually expanding its production, sales and logistics base and strengthening its position on the local market in key application areas.

20 years of RadiciGroup development in India

Since entering the Indian market in 2006, RadiciGroup High Performance Polymers has developed an extensive network covering the entire country. A key element of this structure is the new production plant in Halol, Gujarat, commissioned just over two years ago. This is complemented by a central sales office and two strategically located warehouses in Gurugram, Haryana, and in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

This organisation enables efficient logistics and sales management not only in the Indian market but also in neighbouring countries and other regions, including Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, the Middle East and South Africa. The expansion of the operational structure has translated into increased production capacity, allowing the company to respond more effectively to the diverse needs of customers in different market segments.

In recent years, RadiciGroup High Performance Polymers has expanded its portfolio for sectors considered strategic. These include, among others, the railway sector, for which materials are offered for the construction of high-speed lines, e-mobility, where the company supplies advanced, customer-specific solutions for vehicles, and the E/E and household appliance sector, where products are offered for, among other applications, miniature circuit breakers (MCBs) and various types of home appliances. In this last area, Radici Plastics India is described as a market leader.

Material portfolio for diverse applications

In the transport and e-mobility segment, the company focuses on high-performance engineering polymers for components operating in demanding service conditions. In the railway sector, material solutions are being developed for the construction of high-speed lines, where, in addition to mechanical properties, parameters related to safety and operational durability are also critical.

The e-mobility area covers advanced material solutions for electric vehicles, including components of electrical and electronic systems. In the E/E and household appliance sector, RadiciGroup High Performance Polymers offers, among other materials, plastics for miniature circuit breakers and a wide range of domestic appliances, where stable mechanical and electrical properties and consistent material quality are required.

Solutions based on recyclates and bio-based feedstocks

The Indian operations of RadiciGroup High Performance Polymers play an important role in implementing the company’s sustainability strategy. This concerns in particular the introduction and increasing share of engineering plastics produced from recycled raw materials and from bio-based sources, intended for applications with high safety requirements.

Within the Renycle family, the company offers polyamide engineering plastics based on secondary raw materials. Currently, the portfolio includes, among others, Renycle KN grades based on PA6 with glass fibre reinforcement, intended for electrically neutral components in electrical and electronic vehicle systems. The Bionside range, in turn, comprises PA610 (Radilon D) products designed both for injection moulding and extrusion applications. Among the possible applications are, among others, brake system components in two- and four-wheel vehicles.

Research and development centre in Halol

The production plant in Halol has an advanced research and development centre dedicated to designing high-performance polymer solutions tailored to the needs of the Indian market. This centre is one of the pillars of RadiciGroup’s internationalisation strategy, enabling the combination of global technological expertise with knowledge of local application requirements.

As emphasised by Federico Percassi, country manager India at RadiciGroup High Performance Polymers, the company consistently pursues a customer-oriented approach. "We have been operating in India for 20 years with a customer-centric approach," he states. "Having an R&D centre inside the Halol production site allows us to work side by side with our local partners, combining our global competence with knowledge of the local market to develop tailor-made product solutions. Plastindia 2026 is an important opportunity for us to dialogue with customers and stakeholders and share our experiences on our growth pathways and the value of locally developed innovation."

Participation in Plastindia 2026 provides the company with an opportunity to present completed projects and to discuss with customers and stakeholders from the region the further development of high-performance engineering polymers in transport, e-mobility, the E/E sector and the consumer and industrial goods industries.
