Plast Eurasia 2025, regarded as one of the most comprehensive and influential plastics industry events in the region, concluded after four days of intensive business meetings, technological product presentations and strong visitor interest. Held at the Tüyap Fair and Congress Center, the event once again provided the international plastics community with an extensive trade and networking platform. The organizers emphasize that this year's edition generated a significant volume of contracts, which translated into a further strengthening of the fair's position on the global map of plastics industry events.
Trade fair with the highest share of international exhibitors in Türkiye
The 2025 edition clearly highlighted the growing share of international exhibitors and the high level of commercial activity. According to the organizer, Plast Eurasia 2025 hosted 1,503 exhibitors, 60% of which were foreign companies. This exhibitor structure was accompanied by a strong visitor presence. The fair was visited by a total of 76,430 industry professionals, including 13,219 international visitors and 63,211 from the domestic market.
Such a high level of internationalization on both the exhibitor and visitor sides supported the establishment of new business contacts and the deepening of cooperation between manufacturers, distributors, technology suppliers and buyers of plastic products. The organizers indicate that the business volume generated during this edition further strengthened the global position of Plast Eurasia as a commercial platform for the industry.
New format: Plastics Days as an extension of the trade fair program
The year 2025 marked a clear expansion of the content and conference component of Plast Eurasia. A new event series called Plastics Days was introduced, aimed at broadening participants' perspectives in areas crucial to the sector's development. The program covered issues related to sustainability, technological innovation, regulatory frameworks, new market opportunities and certification processes.
The Plastics Days series began with the PAGEV Plastics Industry Congress and continued with thematic sessions such as Tüyap Kariyer Yolu and Plast Eurasia Exhibitors on Stage. During these events, industry experts shared their experience and analyses, addressing both operational and strategic challenges faced by plastics producers and processors. The organizers underline that the extended technical program helped to strengthen the role of the fair as a venue for sharing knowledge and best practices.
International cooperation and hosted buyer program
Plast Eurasia 2025 also functioned as a hub for international cooperation. Exhibitors and visitors from 151 countries took part in the event, which was reflected in the high level of geographical diversity represented at the stands and among purchasing delegations. During the fair, cooperation agreements were signed between the Turkish association PAGEV and industry representatives from Iran and China.
An important element in strengthening business relations was the hosted buyer program organized by Tüyap. Under this program, professional purchasers from Azerbaijan, Iran, Russia, Belarus, Italy, Serbia, Bosnia, Kosovo, Korea, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Sweden, China, Moldova, Egypt, North Macedonia, Ukraine, Georgia, Poland, the United Arab Emirates, Germany, Romania and the United Kingdom visited the fair. This program supported direct meetings between foreign buyers and exhibitors, facilitating contract negotiations and the initiation of new cooperation projects.
Preparations for the 35th edition of Plast Eurasia
A strong volume of commercial transactions, the high share of international exhibitors and visitors and the effective matchmaking of global buyers with leading companies in the plastics processing sector meant that Plast Eurasia 2025 once again confirmed its role as one of the key trade platforms in the industry. The event is perceived as an important reference point for market participants planning investments in new production capacities, processing technologies, systems supporting operational efficiency and solutions compliant with regulatory requirements.
The organizers have announced that preparations for the 35th edition of the fair are already underway. The next meeting of the plastics industry at the Tüyap venue is scheduled for 2–5 December 2026. It is expected that the upcoming edition will continue the trend of increasing international presence of companies and further development of the content program, including initiatives similar to Plastics Days, focused on knowledge and experience exchange in the areas of innovation and sustainability.
