Biesterfeld Group has appointed Jürgen Rietschle as Business Manager Polymer Additives. The change will take effect on August 1, 2026. Rietschle joined Biesterfeld in November 2024 as Head of Sales Polymer Additives. The company states that he brings extensive experience in strategic business development and international sales. Throughout his career, he has held several senior management positions with responsibility for key business functions. According to the company, he has successfully supported growth, expanded international sales structures, and led large international teams. In his new role, he will succeed Michael Pilz, who is retiring after a long career at Biesterfeld. During that time, he held various positions in the company for nearly four decades.
Dr. Jacek Polewski, Global Business Director Industrial at Biesterfeld, commented on the appointment. "Jürgen Rietschle combines broad market knowledge, a strategic mindset, and many years of international management experience. Since joining Biesterfeld, he has already demonstrated strong leadership and a clear commitment to developing our Polymer Additives business. Management change in the polymer additives segment
The announcement concerns succession within the structures responsible for the Polymer Additives segment at Biesterfeld Group. Rietschle, who has led sales in this area since November 2024, will now assume a management function responsible for the further development of the business. Michael Pilz, in turn, is ending his long professional career at the company and retiring after nearly 40 years in various positions.
