Husky Technologies announces a significant presence at Plastindia 2026, where the company plans to highlight 25 years of investment and business development in India. The supplier of technology solutions for the packaging sector will present its offer from 5 to 10 February at the Bharat Mandapam exhibition center in New Delhi, in hall 5G at booth A19. The display will focus on solutions which, according to the company, make it possible to achieve objectives in product safety, cost affordability and sustainability at the same time.
At the trade fair, systems and platforms dedicated to producers operating on the Indian market will be showcased, in particular in the field of polyethylene terephthalate PET packaging and plastic molded products for fast-moving consumer goods and medical applications. Husky emphasizes that the technologies on display are aimed at reducing conversion costs while maintaining high standards of packaging quality and recyclability. The company also stresses its extensive local technical support infrastructure, designed to serve brands and processors in India.
Since introducing its first system to the Indian market in 1995, Husky has gradually expanded its presence in the region. This includes the launch of a flagship sales and service office in 2001, the opening of the manufacturing facility in Chennai in 2011, and the recent launch of the Delhi office in 2025. Today, the support network consists of a regional proactive monitoring hub, an enhanced service center, a packaging development lab, a parts distribution center and a learning academy. These elements are intended to enable close and responsive service and support for local customers.
"India is one of our most strategic markets worldwide, and our presence at Plastindia 2026 reflects the meaningful progress of our long‑standing commitment to supporting the region’s rise as a global manufacturing leader," said Bradley Selleck, Husky’s CEO. "We’ve made significant investments to expand local capabilities and have plans to further strengthen our footprint as we continue enabling our customers’ growth in this dynamic market. By developing solutions that strive to deliver reduced conversion costs alongside the highest standards of quality and recyclability, we’re empowering local brands and producers to grow responsibly while advancing a more circular future."
Scope of Husky technologies presented at Plastindia 2026
At its booth in hall 5G, Husky is showcasing a range of solutions for brands and producers serving the Indian market. In PET preform molding, the company is exhibiting HyPET6e and HyPET NX6 systems designed for various applications and production volumes. These systems are equipped with advanced recycled PET processing capabilities to support the intensive packaging sustainability requirements in force in India.
In the segment of plastic packaging for fast-moving consumer goods, Husky is presenting the new Hylectric6 and HyperSync molding platforms. These solutions are designed to maximize productivity, versatility and ease of use across a wide range of packaging applications. The company notes that these platforms are intended to help producers increase line output and adapt to changing market requirements.
In the closures field, the company highlights lightweight, tethered and HyCAP SecuRE+ PET closure solutions designed for mono-material package constructions. This approach is intended to support higher recyclability of the entire package by avoiding the combination of different materials within the bottle and closure.
An important element of Husky’s presentation at Plastindia 2026 is also its services and digital monitoring solutions. The Advantage+Elite system enables real-time proactive monitoring of equipment, which is expected to support optimization of overall equipment effectiveness and reduction of conversion costs. Supporting analytical systems are designed to allow rapid identification of process deviations and implementation of preventive actions.
The exposition also includes high-precision hot runner systems and controller units used in various branches of plastics processing. Husky emphasizes the role of these solutions in ensuring process stability, quality repeatability and efficiency in injection molding.
In medical applications, the company is presenting molding solutions for products used in parenteral, diagnostics and laboratory segments. These applications require maintaining high standards of quality and precision, and the systems on display are intended to expand the capabilities of producers operating in these segments in India.
Local support for manufacturers in India
"As we reflect on our journey in India, we are proud to have collaborated with many of the country’s most dynamic and fast‑growing brands and producers. India remains one of the world’s most vibrant packaging markets, and we are committed to supporting our customers as they continue to harness this momentum," said Wassim Labban, Husky’s Vice President, Systems and Tooling, EEMEIA, SEA, ANZ. "Looking ahead, we will continue delivering the right combination of innovative technologies, packaging design expertise, and proactive services to help our customers meet unique regional needs while driving greater affordability, efficiency, and productivity."
Husky representatives underline that the service and engineering infrastructure developed over the years is intended to enable close cooperation with local brands and processors, including faster response to needs related to packaging design, optimization of production processes and implementation of solutions compliant with sustainability regulations. The packaging development lab allows testing of new designs, preform and closure configurations, while the regional proactive monitoring hub supports customers in ongoing analysis of line performance and prevention of downtime.
During Plastindia 2026, Husky experts are available at the booth in hall 5G to discuss with manufacturers how the company’s integrated systems, connected services and local support can be used to achieve production efficiency and sustainability objectives.
