Mold-Masters, a global supplier of hot runners, controllers, auxiliary injection and co-injection systems, will present new solutions at K-Show 2025 in Düsseldorf, Germany, from October 8 to 15. Visitors to Hall 1, Booth C05 will see systems aimed at improving part quality, increasing productivity and lowering scrap. The company plans to unveil several innovations for small-part production, led by the Integra platform developed with project partner Primaform. Compared with conventional semi-cold runner concepts, Integra targets cycle-time reductions of up to 25 percent, higher output via high-cavitation layouts and reduced resin consumption by eliminating cold runners. Live demonstrations will include Integra and the Incognito system. Mold-Masters will also introduce the Dexa side gate solution, which combines individual tip heat control, gate-located tips and a Speed-Lok center bolt design intended to streamline maintenance and enhance processing. Dexa incorporates the company’s iFlow manifold and brazed heater technologies, designed for fill balance and rapid color change. Brazed heaters carry a 10-year warranty. Integra will be available to order in October 2025 with rapid lead times.
"At Mold-Masters, we are committed to pioneering innovative technologies that delivers value and transforms the market. Our focus is on continuously shaping our services and support to meet the unique regional needs of our customers, ensuring tailored solutions that drive success globally." - Hans Hagelstein, Mold-Masters global president.
Integra system for small-part production
The Integra system is positioned to redefine small-part injection molding through cycle-time efficiency, high cavitation and material savings. By eliminating cold runners, the platform reduces resin usage and scrap. In comparison with semi-cold runner systems, Mold-Masters reports potential cycle-time reductions of up to 25 percent. The company states that increased cavitation further supports higher output. Integra will be available to order starting October 2025, and the system will run live at the booth during the event alongside Incognito.
Dexa side gate solution
The new Dexa side gate solution features a redesigned architecture focused on processing control and simplified maintenance:
- Individual tip heat control. Thermally isolated heater zones allow on-the-fly temperature optimization and balance per tip. Users can shut off individual cavities from the controller during operation to limit downtime. Heater zones can be bridged to reduce the number of zones.
- Gate-located tips. Tips are positioned at the gate within the cavity insert rather than affixed to the nozzle. This configuration maintains tip-to-gate concentricity independent of thermal expansion or process temperature changes, supporting gate and part quality. Tips can be replaced quickly from the parting line at room temperature.
- Speed-Lok center bolt. A single center bolt secures four tips with the required preload to achieve a reliable, leak-proof seal. The simplified layout reduces components and shortens replacement and maintenance procedures.
- Manifold and heater package. Integration of the iFlow manifold and brazed heater technologies is intended to deliver fill balance and rapid color change. The brazed heaters are supported by a 10-year warranty.
