Information about MSV 2020 preparations

Information about MSV 2020…

The management of BVV Trade Fairs Brno asked the government to exempt trade fairs from the ban on mass events and to restart the fairs from the end of August. This opinion is supported by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic, the Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic and the Czech Chamber of Commerce.

The exclusion from the category of mass events and determination of conditions for the MSV International Engineering Fair and other planned fairs proposed by BVV is being studied by an expert group of the Ministry of Health for easing of measures and bans in the context of the latest health situation. The opinion of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic will be known by the end of May at the latest.

We believe that the exclusion from mass events and the determination of feasible measures for trade fairs will remove the uncertainty of exhibitors and BVV Trade Fairs Brno in the preparation of the MSV and other events in the second half of this year. For the above reason, the deadline for submitting applications for MSV exhibitors was newly set for 15th June 2020.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic counts on standard participation and considers the MSV to be an integral part of supporting the disrupted economy.
