BW Packaging, Barry-Wehmiller’s packaging machinery group, has announced its lineup for Pack Expo Las Vegas, scheduled for Sept. 29-Oct. 1. At booth W-3100 the company plans to present equipment from its Angelus, Hayssen, Pneumatic Scale | Angelus and Thiele brands, spanning seaming, craft beverage canning, flow wrapping, vertical form-fill-seal bagging and bag filling. “We’re excited to reconnect with existing customers and welcome new ones at Pack Expo 2025 in Las Vegas, a premier gathering place to exchange ideas, explore challenges and have meaningful dialogue with our customers,” said Rachana Creeth, President of BW Packaging. “Such dialogue lays the groundwork for enduring collaboration and lasting partnerships.”
Canning and seaming
For craft brewers, BW Packaging will exhibit the Pneumatic Scale | Angelus CBR 12/3 Rotary Counter Pressure Canning System, engineered for precision filling and seaming at speeds up to 250 cans per minute. Positioned nearby, the Angelus 12V Seamer targets canned food and beverage applications, offering high-speed seaming in the 400-1,800 CPM range for cans with diameters between 200-300 mm.
Bagging and flow wrapping
BW Packaging will present the Hayssen ISB VFFS Bagger, now available with an optional stainless steel motor to support improved machine hygiene. Designed for cheese, fresh produce and individually quick frozen products, the ISB is positioned as an intelligent, sanitary vertical form-fill-seal solution for consumer packaged goods.
Making its Pack Expo Las Vegas debut, the Hayssen R300 Flow Wrapper is aimed at baked goods producers seeking robust, hand-fed flow wrapping with an emphasis on maximizing uptime and minimizing cleaning time.
Bag filling
The new Thiele UltraStar G2 Bagger will be on display. Its predecessor has become a power horse solution for pet food and animal feed producers throughout North America. The re-engineered model is capable of filling and sealing up to 38 bags per minute and incorporates several upgrades intended to enhance long-term productivity and reduce maintenance costs.
Interface and operation
Each machine on the stand will feature the OpView human-machine interface. The supplier highlights the user-friendly design as a means to help consumer packaged goods companies address operational challenges associated with the scarcity of skilled labor.
