1.Plastcompany to showcase Boy injection moulding machines at Plastpol

1.Plastcompany to showcase…

At this year’s Plastpol trade fair in Kielce, to be held from 19 to 22 May, 1.Plastcompany will present solutions from its long-standing partner, Boy, at booth B03 in Hall 3. This year’s edition of the event will also have an anniversary dimension, as the trade fair celebrates its 30th anniversary and 1.Plastcompany marks its 10th anniversary. The company has announced the presentation of three injection moulding machines covering applications related to micro injection moulding and production of small parts, processing of technical components, and fully automated manufacturing within an integrated production cell. According to the information provided by the company, the booth will feature solutions representing current development directions in processing precision, energy efficiency and injection moulding machine automation.

The first machine on display will be the Boy XS E, the smallest model in the manufacturer’s portfolio. The machine is positioned as a solution for micro injection moulding and production of small parts, among other things thanks to its compact design and production capabilities. During the trade fair, the machine will be used to manufacture bottle openers. Two additional models that debuted last year will also be presented at the booth. One of them will be the Boy 20 E PRO, the successor to the Boy 22 A PRO. The injection moulding machine is equipped with a servo drive and the Procan Alpha 4 control system. According to the provided information, it is characterised by low energy consumption, a small footprint of 1.8 m² and versatility across applications. During the trade fair, it will produce technical parts using a 6-cavity mould.

The largest electric model and integrated automation

The third machine presented by 1.Plastcompany will be the Boy 100 Electric, the largest model in the Electric series. This application is intended to demonstrate the capabilities of the electromechanical injection moulding machine in terms of cycle time optimisation through parallel movements, a highly dynamic injection process, high repeatability and precise execution of motion sequences. One of the key elements of this presentation will be the full integration of the Procan Alpha 6 control system with the Handling LR 5 system. This solution enables operation without an additional control panel and is an example of an approach focused on advanced production automation. This machine will be used for the fully automated production of lunchboxes within an integrated production cell.

According to the company, trade fair visitors will be able to see the presented solutions directly and assess the capabilities of the technologies displayed at the booth.
