To facilitate further growth, Gabriel-Chemie has broken ground on the expansion of its warehouse capacity at the headquarters in Gumpoldskirchen, Austria. The plan is to enlarge the existing warehouse by approximately 3,200 m². This measure is in line with the company commitment to environmental protection and sustainability, as all existing green areas will be preserved. This expansion will be accompanied by a new traffic concept equipped with state-of-the-art technical filters to avoid contamination.
Inside the new building, a flexible rack system will be installed, providing an additional 5,000 pallet spaces. This will make open air storage spaces obsolete in future. As a result, the Gumpoldskirchen site will further strengthen its significant role for the Gabriel-Chemie Group, especially in the field of supply chain and logistics. Additionally, the building will be equipped with a photovoltaic system contributing an additional 320 kWp to the existing 881 kWp installation.

Gabriel-Chemie CFOO Andreas Berger commented “This warehouse extension, requiring an investment of €7.0 million, underscores our commitment to further strengthen Gabriel-Chemie‘s position as a future-oriented masterbatch manufacturer.“
