SI Group has announced the promotion of Robert Kaiser to the position of senior vice president, strategic marketing. With this appointment, he will also join the company’s Executive Leadership Team. The company said Kaiser has extensive commercial experience in the chemical industry and will be responsible for market-focused growth initiatives, as well as for further strengthening the link between customer needs and SI Group’s long-term business strategy.
Kaiser has been with SI Group since 2014. During that time, he has held leadership positions with increasing responsibility in strategic marketing and business development. According to the company, he has played an important role in shaping the company’s portfolio and market strategy, while also strengthening cross-functional cooperation in the implementation of key growth initiatives. Before joining SI Group, he held commercial leadership roles at AkzoNobel and Arizona Chemical, now part of Kraton Corporation.
The promotion is intended to support the company’s further efforts in market development and in aligning its commercial strategy with customer expectations. The announcement indicates that Kaiser’s new responsibilities will focus on market initiatives and on using his experience gained in the chemical industry to support the company’s long-term objectives.
