Registration for Compounding & Recycling Expo 2026 now open

Registration for Compounding…

AMI has opened online registration for the Compounding & Recycling Expo, which will take place on 23–24 September 2026 at the Messe Frankfurt exhibition centre in Germany. Participation for visitors is free of charge. The exhibition focuses on the growing common ground between plastics compounding and recycling, bringing representatives of the entire value chain together for two days of solution presentations, technical knowledge exchange and business networking.

Visitors also gain free access to two dedicated conference theatres hosting expert-led sessions on market trends, technical developments, innovative applications and the evolving regulatory framework in Europe. The organiser emphasises that the accelerating links between compounding and plastics recycling create the need for a shared platform to discuss the future of polymer material performance, environmental durability and operation within a circular economy.

Scope and exhibitor profile

The exhibition will present solutions covering compounding machinery, polymer raw materials, additives, recycling technologies and testing and measuring equipment. Exhibitors that have already confirmed their participation include Wacker, BASF, Sun Chemical, SI Group, JSW, Hosokawa Alpine, Farrel Pomini, Van Werven, Maag, Invista, Orion, Gneuss, Theysohn and other technology and material suppliers for the plastics industry.

The organisers position the event as a platform for the presentation of solutions for the compounding industry, masterbatch production, recyclers, waste management operators, processors and manufacturers of finished products. Particular emphasis is placed on applications in the packaging, automotive, construction and electronics sectors, as well as on the participation of sustainability and materials specialists from end-use industries.

Frankfurt as event location

Frankfurt am Main has been selected as the venue due to its central position in the European industrial economy. Germany is the largest plastics market in Europe and one of the global centres for materials science and recycling technology development. With its well-developed transport infrastructure, the city is intended to serve as a convenient meeting point for an international audience, including compounders, masterbatch producers, recyclers, waste management companies, processors and OEMs.

"We recognise that the futures of compounding and recycling are closely interconnected" said Andy Beevers, Events Director at AMI. "The AMI team has worked closely with the industry to understand its evolving needs, and the result is this expo, the only platform in Europe that fully reflects the importance of this shared direction of development. We have created an opportunity for the entire supply chain to meet in one place, collaborate and jointly advance the next generation of materials."

Target audience and registration

Compounding & Recycling Expo Europe is aimed at decision makers working in plastics compounding, recycling, waste management and processing. The event is also intended to attract sustainability specialists and materials experts from end-use sectors, including packaging, automotive, construction and electronics.
