
RePlast Eurasia, described by the organizer as Türkiye’s first and only specialised fair for the plastics recycling sector, returned for its second edition on 8–10 May 2025 at the Tüyap Fair Convention and Congress Centre. Organized by Tüyap in cooperation with PAGÇEV, the event provided a focused platform for stakeholders in recycling technologies and raw materials. Exhibitors presented current developments and solutions across plastic recycling raw materials and processing technologies, while visitors used the fair for networking and procurement. In total, 151 companies and company representatives from 13 countries, including Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, China and the United Kingdom, showcased products and services. Over three days, the fair recorded 8,340 visitors from 56 countries, of whom 596 were industry professionals from abroad. According to the organizer, the countries with the highest number of visitors included Germany, Belgium, the United Kingdom, China, Georgia, the Netherlands, Iran, Italy and Romania. The organizer highlighted the event’s role as a meeting and cooperation venue for recycling professionals.
Exhibitors and attendance
The exhibitor base covered recycling technologies and raw materials, reflecting current trends in plastics recycling. International participation included companies and representatives from 13 countries, and the visitor profile spanned 56 countries. Reported international attendance reached 596 professionals, underscoring cross-border engagement with the Turkish recycling market.
Awards and conference program
The fair hosted the second PAGÇEV Plastic Recycling Awards and Conference. On the first day, awards were presented in seven categories:
- Automotive electrical or electronic product, first place: Biolive Biyolojik ve Kimyasal Teknolojileri San. ve Tic. A.Ş.
- Infrastructure and construction materials, first place: Backcycle Geri Dönüşüm San. ve Tic. A.Ş. and Ege Polimer Ltd.Şti.
- Home appliances and entertainment, first place: Wastespresso and Factory of us
- Plastic packaging and packaging materials, first place: Aquapol Polietilen A.Ş.
- Innovation and technology, product technology, first place: Mir Araştırma ve Geliştirme A.Ş.
- Innovative recycling machinery, first place: Loopbot İleri Teknoloji A.Ş. and Emayer Makine İmalat San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti.
- Plastic recycling ambassador: Hayrettin Can
Following the awards, conferences and panels addressed sector topics including an international perspective on plastic recycling, global developments and new trends, recycled plastic content and recycling process certification, and recycled plastic utilisation with a focus on opportunities, quality management and supply chain.
Artistic touch to recycling: Pet World Wall
An upcycling project titled Pet World Wall, led by artist Zeliha Sunal, was initiated at the venue ahead of the fair and completed with visitor participation during the event. The installation reused collected plastic bottles to build an artwork intended to support recycling awareness, illustrating how plastic waste can be repurposed with an artistic approach.

The next RePlast Eurasia is scheduled to take place on 26–28 March 2026 at the Tüyap Fair Convention and Congress Centre.
