New speakers join the PRSE…

The organisers of PRSE 2026 have announced an expansion of the conference programme with additional speakers. The event will take place on 5–6 May at RAI Amsterdam and will be the 10th anniversary edition of the meeting dedicated to plastics recycling. According to the announcement, the conference will bring together more than 70 representatives from different parts of the plastics recycling value chain, making it the most extensive programme in the event's history. The two-day programme will be divided between two conference theatres and will include keynote sessions, panel discussions, technical presentations and sessions sponsored by industry representatives. The thematic scope will cover regulation, innovation and market developments.

One of the newly announced speakers is Wolfgang Trunk, Team Leader for Plastics and Packaging at the European Commission's Directorate-General for Environment. According to the organisers, he will speak during the session "Recycled content targets, from mandate to implementation". The organisers' information states that Wolfgang Trunk is among those involved in shaping the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation, PPWR.

The list of newly confirmed speakers also includes representatives of financial institutions and companies active in packaging, logistics and processing. The list includes Kostiantyn Kulyk, Senior Sector Engineer at the European Investment Bank, Arne Ringkowski, Senior Director SC Network & Reverse Logistics at Aldi Nord, Michael Schmidt, CPO at Jokey Group, Philipp Lehner, CEO of Alpla, Agnieszka van Batavia, Vice President Sustainability Pharma Division at Constantia Flexibles, Gerald Rebitzer, Vice President Sustainability Operations & Advocacy at Amcor, Massimo Pavin, CEO of Sirmax Group, as well as Seda Özenç Boyraz, Packaging & Packaging Regulatory Manager at Diversey.

The PRSE conference focuses on plastics recycling issues and brings together participants representing different market segments. This year's edition is intended to combine regulatory, technological and business topics in one programme that influence the development of the recycling sector in Europe.
