Moretto has launched the Moretto in Motion 2026 tour, a travelling technology showcase aimed at plastics processing plants. It is a roadshow organised directly at customers’ sites in Italy and other European countries, designed to present the latest solutions used in processing operations. The manufacturer describes the project as a mobile innovation hub where users can familiarise themselves with the build quality, precision engineering and energy efficiency of Moretto equipment.
The concept combines live presentations, practical machine demonstrations and in depth technical consultations. The offer includes presentations with the participation of specialists, operational simulations illustrating the use of technologies under real production conditions, as well as interactive stations in the form of touch screen totems. During visits to processing plants, advisory meetings are held focusing on specific customer requirements. In this way, the manufacturer seeks to reduce the distance between supplier and equipment user, highlighting the implementation of a customer centric strategy.
The presence of Moretto technology directly at the production plant allows for an immediate analysis of the company’s requirements. In real time it is possible to demonstrate how the proposed solutions can affect the efficiency of plastics processing, including increased line throughput and reduced material losses and waste. On site demonstrations also make it possible to assess how the equipment integrates with the existing infrastructure and to fine tune operating parameters in line with plant conditions.
Tour in Italy and selected European locations
The Moretto in Motion 2026 roadshow starts with a series of events held in Italy. The project is then planned to be extended to selected cities in other European countries. The manufacturer assumes that the mobile format will facilitate building relationships with processors operating in different market segments and will support ongoing discussions on the specifics of local applications.
The initiative aims to create strategic links covering both technical and organisational aspects related to the operation of plastics processing equipment. During the meetings, Moretto representatives provide technical advice and propose solutions tailored to the needs of plants operating in an increasingly competitive and demanding processing market. The project includes the discussion of specific application scenarios, taking into account aspects such as process stability, parameter repeatability and energy efficiency.
The tour also has an informational function, enabling processors to become acquainted directly with the technologies currently available without the need to attend trade fairs or industry conferences. The roadshow thus complements traditional forms of presenting an offer, transferring part of the functions typical of trade fair stands and demonstration centres to the production halls of end users.
