MAAG Group and Sikora jointly at Plast Milan 2026

MAAG Group and Sikora jointly…

MAAG Group will take part in Plast Milan 2026, which will be held in Milan from June 9 to 12, 2026. At booth L09 M10 in Hall 13, the company will present solutions for polymer processing, product manufacturing, and the production of pipes and hoses. This will be the first joint appearance of MAAG Group and Sikora in Italy since the acquisition of Sikora in June 2025. Sikora specializes in measurement, control, inspection and sorting technologies for the plastics industry. According to the companies, the showcase is intended to demonstrate their combined expertise across the entire plastics processing value chain, from material conveying and feeding, through filtration and pelletizing, to finished product quality control and inspection of input materials and semi-finished products. The presentation will focus on both process equipment and analytical and measurement systems used in demanding applications.

Among the solutions announced for the trade fair is the first gear pump designed specifically for pumping rigid PVC. The company will also present an efficient strand pelletizing system for demanding polymers, intended to provide low dust generation, stable operation and economical use. Another product group includes high-performance melt filters for recycling processes. In the field of material control and inspection, the Purity Concept V system for inspection and analysis of pellets, flakes and test plates will be presented, along with the Purity Scanner Advanced for inspection and sorting in demanding plastic applications. The display will be complemented by the Centerwave 6000, a system for measuring wall thickness and pipe diameter in the range from 32 to 1,600 mm.

Joint presentation after the Sikora acquisition

The joint presence at Plast Milan 2026 is intended to emphasize the integration of both companies' portfolios following MAAG Group's acquisition of Sikora. As Ueli Thürig, President of MAAG Group, points out, the goal is not only to supply customers with machines and systems, but also to provide long-term support based on process expertise. "Our aim is not only to provide customers with first-class machines and systems, but also to support them as a long-term partner with in-depth process expertise," summarizes Ueli Thürig, President of MAAG Group.

The scope of the presented solutions shows that the joint portfolio includes both equipment for processing lines and systems for quality control, measurement and sorting. Particular emphasis has been placed on applications related to plastics processing, recycling, and the production of pipes and hoses, where measurement precision and process stability directly affect the parameters of the finished product.
