Carlo Remmele to lead Südpack’s…

The Südpack Group has announced a leadership change in its most important area of business. Carlo Remmele, a member of the founding family’s third generation, is taking over as head of the Business Unit Food. According to the company, the decision is part of measures designed to prepare the company for the future, strengthen its strategic focus on core business activities, and confirm a long-term approach to management continuity and steady growth. Business Unit Food is the largest organizational unit within Südpack and a central part of the group’s overall operations.

Carlo Remmele knows the food and packaging industry from both practical and managerial perspectives. He began his career with training as a dairy technologist. He then studied business and economics, preparing for management and strategic roles. He gained further experience within the Südpack Group, where he started as a trainee and then moved into increasingly responsible leadership positions across various areas of the company.

In his new role, Carlo Remmele assumes, with immediate effect, responsibility for the company’s most important division. As head of the Business Unit Food, he is expected to help shape the unit’s next stage of development and further strengthen Südpack’s presence in international markets.

Thorsten Seehars, CEO of the Südpack Group, commented on the appointment: "With Carlo Remmele, our Business Unit Food is gaining a leader who knows our company inside out and has a deep understanding of our customers’ requirements. I am delighted that Carlo will now bring his expertise and strategic perspective to this key role."
