Yavuz Eroğlu was unanimously re-elected as TOBB Plastics, Rubber and Composites Industry Assembly President.

Established in 2016, the Plastics, Rubber and Composites Industry Assembly of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) held an election for its presidential council. As the only candidate, Yavuz Eroğlu was unanimously re-elected president.

The Plastics, Rubber and Composites Industry Assembly is the umbrella organisation for all the Plastics, Rubber and Composites Industry in Turkey.

The overarching message of the Plastics, Rubber and Composites Industry Assembly election was unity. Yavuz Eroğlu, the President of the Turkish Plastics Industry Foundation (PAGEV), was re-elected to the presidency of the Plastics, Rubber and Composites Industry Assembly as the only nominee. The Vice-President will be Fahri Özer, Board of Directors Chair of the Flexible Packaging Industrialists Association.

TOBB Board of Directors Vice President Ayhan Zeytinoğlu delivered opening remarks, explaining the activities of the Plastics, Rubber and Composites Industry Assembly. He expressed his gratitude to President Yavuz Eroğlu for his effective, results-oriented work which helped the Assembly into a great start.Yavuz Eroğlu commented, “Since established as the unifying force of the Plastics, Rubber and Composites industries, we have been working relentlessly. The Plastics, Rubber and Composites industries are the driving force behind growth in Turkey and everywhere else in the world, but we do realize that we have to work more towards expressing the importance of these industries for the national economy. Going forward, we will expedite our efforts to identify and eliminate the problems our industry has. We will implement measures that will carry all industry representatives to the future. I would like to thank all members for their confidence in us, and electing us to the head of the Assembly for another period."
