The Wittmann Group has established a sales and service subsidiary in Morocco in response to rising demand for injection molding technology in North Africa. Operating as Wittmann Maroc Sarl and based in Casablanca, the company commenced operations on September 1, 2025. Redouane Soukrat was appointed general manager. "We are delighted to have gained Mr. Soukrat, a highly experienced injection molding expert who already has excellent contacts in the local automotive supply industry," said Michael Wittmann, owner and president of the Wittmann Group, headquartered in Austria.
The automotive industry in Morocco has been growing for several years and plays a key role for Africa as a whole. Wittmann reports that it has participated in this development from the outset. "The new subsidiary builds on many existing close customer relationships," said Michael Wittmann. "With the new location, we offer our local customers even greater proximity and service."
Local service infrastructure in Casablanca
To support customers, a dedicated spare parts warehouse has been set up in Casablanca. The subsidiary also operates a showroom where customers can see and try out many Wittmann products and technologies with only a short journey required.
One of Redouane Soukrat's primary goals is to expand the network of qualified service technicians in the region.
