Südpack helps Ukraine

The suffering of the people in Ukraine moves many entrepreneurs. To alleviate the suffering of those affected in the war zones, the family-owned company Südpack has now spontaneously donated an amount of 20,000 € to the German Red Cross (DRK). The money will be used in the " Bargeldhilfeprojekt" (Money donation project) to directly support the needs of the people in the country as well as the refugees.

Since 2017, an ambitious aid project has been running, where the German Red Cross (DRK) is actively supporting its sister organization in Ukraine, the URK, not only on site but also, and in particular, with financial donations. Since the beginning of the war, the measures and projects for the civilian population have been significantly expanded. As the fighting is becoming more violent every day, the humanitarian crisis is getting significantly worse.

Carolin Grimbacher, Managing Director of the family business in the second generation, affirms: "The current political, economic and social crisis makes it more important than ever for all of us to reflect on our traditional values and work together to develop strategies and solutions for the modern challenges of our time. As a family company, we are always aware of our social, ecological and also economic responsibility - and act in accordance with it."
