In this way, the company significantly expands its sales presence, local base and technical support capabilities for customers in India and the SAARC region. The partnership with Tung Yu, based on complementary expertise, covers both the development of joint machine solutions and the organization of the sales network in the Indian market.
Extending long-term cooperation to the Indian market
REP International and Tung Yu have been cooperating for many years in the design and delivery of solutions for rubber processing. This partnership is based on combining REP's experience in injection molding with Tung Yu's industrial efficiency. As part of this cooperation, dedicated machine ranges have already been developed, combining REP injection technology with Tung Yu's design and manufacturing solutions.
The cooperation is now entering a new stage, as Tung Yu India becomes REP's official sales agent in the Indian market. This sales organization allows REP to immediately expand its local reach through an experienced and established partner, strongly rooted in the Indian rubber industry.
The manufacturer emphasizes that reinforcing this cooperation is a natural consequence of the long-term partnership with Tung Yu and makes it possible to get closer to customers and increase operational efficiency in the Indian market.
Expanded portfolio and focus on the OPTI range
Under the strengthened partnership, Tung Yu India now offers users both Tung Yu and REP solutions, with a particular focus on the OPTI range. This is a line of rubber injection molding machines jointly developed by the two companies to provide high user value in rubber injection processes.
The OPTI range combines simple design, optimized for operation and maintenance, with consistent machine performance and a competitive investment cost level. The range covers clamping forces from 150 to 800 tons and injection volumes from 500 to 35,000 cm3, enabling it to meet the needs of a wide spectrum of industrial applications, including the production of various rubber parts with different sizes and process requirements.
This configuration of parameters allows the injection molding machine to be matched to the needs of plants manufacturing components for various industrial sectors that use rubber components and other elastomers. At the same time, Tung Yu India's local presence is intended to support faster service response and technical advice in machine selection.
Joint presentation at India Rubber Exhibition 2026
The official presentation of the reinforced partnership between REP and Tung Yu India is scheduled for the India Rubber Exhibition (IRE) in Delhi, to be held from 7 to 10 April 2026. A Tung Yu compression press and an OPTI300 rubber injection molding machine manufactured in India will be showcased at the booth.
The machine display at IRE 2026 is intended to highlight both local manufacturing capabilities and the result of combining REP's injection molding technology with Tung Yu's experience in building presses and machinery for the rubber industry. The joint presence at the trade fair is part of a broader strategy to strengthen the companies' position in the Indian market and neighboring countries.
By developing its cooperation with Tung Yu India, REP confirms its intention to further grow in India and to supply users with efficient, reliable and locally supported rubber injection molding solutions.
