Hasco is adding new locating rings Z7517/…, Z7526/… and Z7527/… to its portfolio, extending its existing range of components for precise clamping of injection moulds on the machine. The new solutions are designed for accurate positioning of the mould on the machine side and for ensuring repeatable guiding during clamping, which is crucial for injection process stability and part quality.
Precise positioning and increased process reliability
The new locating ring, with a guide length of 8 mm, enables accurate positioning of the mould on the machine side. The extended guide length reduces the risk of the mould tilting during clamping, which translates into higher process reliability and lowers the risk of alignment errors.
Mounting holes in the ring allow secure, flush tightening with the clamping plate surface. Flexible adjustment options facilitate integration of the component into different mould designs, allowing its use in a wide range of tooling projects without the need for major changes to the existing mould concept.
Integration with Hasco thermal insulating sheets
The new locating ring variants, available in thicknesses of 6 and 8 mm, are matched to Hasco thermal insulating sheets. This ensures accurate connection of both elements and high stability of the clamping system even in demanding applications, where minimising heat loss and maintaining stable mould temperature are important.
Dimensional compatibility of the rings and insulating sheets simplifies the design of the mould package as a complete system in which individual components are structurally matched. This supports both precise guiding of the mould on the machine and efficient energy management in the injection process.
