Moretto in motion

Moretto in motion At Fakuma 2014, the comprehensive stand of Moretto S.p.A. was visited by an exceptionally large number of plastics insiders, many of whom went to see the company's mobile exhibition unit outside hall B3 – focused on high-end ancillary equipment for the plastics processing industry. Learning from that success, a fully equipped exhibition center (see photo page 4) will travel the length and breadth of Europe to get straight to the doors of existing and prospective customers. The impressive red 'Moretto in motion' road train boasts an imposing exhibition surface area of 82 m². 'Hands on equipment straight to your doorstep' is the motto of the road show.

Over 40 years of experience in the plastics processing industry have taught Renato Moretto, the company’s chief executive officer, that – apart from conventional paths – he has to continually find new and innovative ways to meet customer needs, to anticipate, recognize and address customer benefits. This includes the ability to see the road far ahead, predicting the direction global market developments might or will follow. He understands that customers visiting exhibitions can often only experience the very latest products and applications a manufacturer is offering within a limited timeframe. Alternatives – such as in-house open days – again, involve the customer in travel and expense. Visits from Moretto sales and service experts – however frequent – may offer different satisfactory solutions, but not always comprehensively address the entire benefit spectrum: e.g. they cannot carry ancillary equipment with them.

"The Moretto in motion state-of-the-art technical show will accommodate every individual customer's needs and requirements, be those new industry entrants or experts of many years' standing in their individual markets. We want to reach existing customers and interested parties directly and demonstrate our performance capacity within their 'comfort zone' – directly at their own manufacturing facility. This initiative will cover core plastics processing applications (storage, conveying, dehumidifying, mixing, dosing, temperature control, grinding and also measuring) in industries such as automotive, electrical/electronics, packaging, PET, pharmaceutical, medical devices, chemical, cosmetics, building/construction, film/foil and sheet production, telecommunications, hi-fi/video, engineering, aerospace, or optical equipment, among others. We will be at our customers' manufacturing sites, side by side with our customers. Every level of customer experience will be covered, achieving added value", emphasizes Renato Moretto, not hiding his passion for excellence in everything he and his team do.
