Milacron to showcase end-to-end service solutions at Fakuma 2015

Milacron to showcase end-to-end… Milacron Inc. announced its plans to have a major on-site presence at Fakuma 2015, a premier international plastics processing trade fair in Friedrichshafen, Germany from October 13th to 17th. The company will focus on the innovative potential of its integrated plastics solutions. Milacron's participation and activities will feature various new processing technologies and address evolving customer needs.

The industry's only integrated plastics processing provider, Milacron has combined the individual strengths of industry leading brands Ferromatik, Mold-Masters, Uniloy, DME, Tirad and CIMCOOL. Technologies such as injection, co-injection, extrusion, hot runner systems, control systems, blow molding and mold technologies have been combined under a unified brand that reflects Milacron's new direction as the industry's most comprehensive integrated plastics solutions provider.

At Fakuma, Milacron will illustrate how its new integrated approach, as well as its rich portfolio of products, provides customers with engineered solutions across three businesses. This includes Advanced Plastics Processing Technologies, Melt Delivery and Control Systems, and Fluid Technologies. Visitors to Milacron's Fakuma booth, located in hall B3 - booth 3203, will be able to take a closer look at the future of plastics processing technology. In addition to Milacron’s plastics machinery products, Mold-Masters, DME, TIRAD, and CIMCOOL products and systems will be housed in the same booth.

"With all of the exciting changes happening at Milacron, our focus remains on helping our customers succeed. We want to show them what we can do when we combine the best in plastics processing under one roof," said Tom Goeke, CEO of Milacron. "Fakuma is an ideal platform for us to showcase our innovative technologies and products, and demonstrate to customers how Milacron can help them succeed through our innovative, end-to-end service solutions."

Fakuma attendees will experience the following technologies first-hand at Milacron's booth:

Injection Molding Machines

The new Magna Toggle

The new Magna T will be launched in the European market at Fakuma. Combining the advantages of a precise and accurate toggle mechanism with advanced user-friendly controls, the Magna T Servo is a high-value injection molding machine. Reduced heat generation results in longer life for the hydraulic components and enhanced oil life, while the head load on the factory floor and cooling water consumption is reduced. Magna T Servo offers energy efficiency while providing outstanding repeatability, increased accuracy and precision.

The Magna T Servo has a quiet gear pump resulting in increased operator safety due to substantial noise reduction. Its toggle mechanism is optimized for fast cycling and reduced platen deflection, and its servo motor design has increased reliability and lower maintenance costs.

The Machine (Magna Toggle 200) is equipped with a mold from the Austrian moldmaker Haidlmair and is producing a high-end storage container made out of PP. The parts will handled by a robotic take out system.
