
MAAG Group is driving the strategic expansion of its Recycling Systems business unit. Despite current challenges in the industry, the management team is maintaining its course and investing in the future of its recycling components and systems. Ahead of the upcoming K show, the company is intensifying its activities in this market segment, signaling continued commitment to the development of solutions for plastics recycling.
Effective October 1, 2025, Michael Heitzinger will assume the position of Manager Business Development Recycling Systems at MAAG. Heitzinger is well known within the industry. Over the past 25 years, he has held executive roles in mechanical and plant engineering. Most recently, he was responsible for supporting OEMs worldwide in the field of plastic recycling for another player in the market.
The appointment underscores MAAG's intent to further develop its Recycling Systems offering through a dedicated business development function. The company frames the move as an investment in the future of its recycling-focused components and systems, aligning organizational resources with ongoing strategic priorities.
