Harting Americas has recognized Arburg Inc. with its Supplier Excellence award at the company’s first Supplier Day, held on 12 August 2025 at Harting’s Americas headquarters in the Chicago area. The event covered Harting operations in the United States, Mexico and Brazil, and brought together more than a dozen suppliers spanning raw materials, components, wires and equipment. According to Harting, the award is intended to acknowledge suppliers that demonstrate outstanding performance in quality, sustainability, logistics and innovation, while reinforcing partnership-based collaboration. All award recipients are characterized by close, long-term cooperation with Harting Americas and a shared commitment to quality and innovation. Harting has been a customer of Arburg in the Americas for more than five years. The award presentation took place at Harting’s Elgin, Illinois headquarters, where Arburg also operates a Technology Center, and the cooperation is marked by close interaction with the local ATC team. Arburg supplies injection moulding technology to Harting and supports the customer’s regional projects and timelines.
Scope and criteria of the recognition
The Supplier Excellence award highlights suppliers that meet Harting’s expectations across multiple performance areas. As described by the organizer, the aim is to recognize achievements in quality, sustainability, logistics and innovation, and to further strengthen cooperative, long-term relationships. The invited supplier base reflected Harting’s upstream value chain in the Americas region, from materials through components to equipment, aligning with the company’s operational footprint in the USA, Mexico and Brazil.
Customer relationship and support
In presenting the award, Florian Stuetzel, COO at Harting Americas, said: "Arburg was there when needed with quick unbureaucratic reaction during an emergency situation. The company helped Harting to get new moulds into production that otherwise would not have made schedule." The companies’ collaboration in the Americas dates back over five years and is supported by Arburg’s Technology Center in Elgin, Illinois, which enables close coordination with Harting’s local teams.
Commenting on the recognition, Martin Baumann, President and CEO at Arburg Inc. in Rocky Hill, Connecticut, said: "We are very happy with getting this award.
