Finat, the European association for the international label industry, will be present at Labelexpo Europe 2025 from 16 to 19 September at Fira Barcelona Gran Via. As an association partner of the show, Finat invites members, partners and visitors from across the label value chain to stand 4E49. The association will provide updates on technical, sustainability, marketing and regulatory work, and will make recent reports, white papers and video materials available. The stand will also serve as a point of contact for information on release liner recycling through Celab-Europe, on current market trends and on opportunities to engage with Finat initiatives.
During the exhibition, Finat board members, working group leaders and taskforce experts will be on hand to discuss developments and answer questions. Visitors will be able to view the winning entries of the 2025 Finat Label Competition, obtain the Finat Technical Handbook as a reference for label testing procedures, and learn about membership and upcoming events. Practical amenities will include complimentary drinks and facilities for charging mobile devices. Information will be provided on how to participate in the next competition cycle in 2026, along with details of Finat’s 2026 events program. The association will also highlight its European Label Forum scheduled for 27–29 May in Seville, Spain, and the Printer-2-Printer Seminar on 4–6 November in Milano, Italy.

Young Professionals Network drinks
Finat will spotlight its Young Professionals Network, a platform for early-career professionals that promotes personal development, innovation and open dialogue through online and in-person activities. A YPN Drinks & Networking event, hosted by Nilpeter at stand 3D55, will take place on Wednesday 17 September from 16:30 to 17:30 CET. The session is intended to facilitate informal networking and exchange among young professionals in the label industry.
Forthcoming eLearning platform
Looking ahead to 2026, Finat plans to launch an eLearning platform designed to support skills development in the label sector through professionally produced online courses. The first course, "Label Printing Essentials", will offer a comprehensive introduction for newcomers and those seeking to reinforce foundational knowledge. Developed to the standards of the Open University, the program will include multimedia content, interactive assessments and certification upon completion. Further updates will be communicated as preparations advance.
